Cataraqui Centre - GUEST SERVICES

GUEST SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE- PART TIME (Contract)

Cataraqui Centre is currently looking for an energetic and positive individual to join our dynamic Guest Services Team!

This position is one of the first points of contact for customers and tenants and must have a positive attitude towards all clients.  This position is also responsible for assisting with administering specific property programs such as gift cards, community clubs and contests.   The successful candidate will have a flexible work schedule, including availability during the day, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Role:

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all patrons and tenants by being knowledgeable about the property and its offerings
  • Assist in the facilitation of the property gift card program
  • Assist in the administration of the lost and found program
  • Provide directions within the property
  • Answer incoming calls on both internal and external lines
  • Respond to general email inquiries
  • Provide support to other departments as requested
  • Coordinate the loan of strollers, wheelchairs, walkers
  • Communicate with other departments in a timely manner to relay information
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in customer service

Requirements:

Formal education and /or certifications

  • completed or working towards Secondary School diploma or equivalent

Specialized knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Basic PC skills
  • Basic Microsoft office skills
  • Cash handling
  • First aid, CPR and AED certification an asset
  • Ability to learn and apply programs and procedures thoroughly and efficiently
  • Have a positive attitude and outgoing manner
